Mason Zabojnik. Twenty-TWO-year-old Czech FINAL-YEAR DESIGN AND MEDIA UNIVERSITY STUDENT, FULL-TIME MULTIDISCIPLINARY CREATIVE, VISUAL AND GRAPHIC ARTIST, DESIGNER, PHOTOGRAPHER, AND MINIMALIST. Currently based in Dallas, Texas.
Mason has possessed an innovative, imaginative, and intuitive mindset since she was young, from expressing creative ideas as a toddler to discovering a profound passion for visual and graphic art throughout her adolescence. Design, photography, cinematography, and videography have become fundamental outlets that fuel her authentic and free self-expression and influence her interactions with the world.
Her work offers a glimpse into various individual and collective elements of design, photography, cinematography, and videography that capture musings on the essence and purpose of life, the human condition, narrative storytelling, environmental ambience, abstract concepts, and light as a medium. One of her work’s ultimate aspirations involves providing insight into her dynamic and diverse thought processes, perspectives, and experiences. She finds bits and pieces of beauty in the ordinary by viewing life through an aesthetic and creative lens, with the world being her canvas and her camera being her brush.
Her creative identity and journey, molded by abiding exploration and growth, continuously evolve as she discovers new mediums, techniques, and technologies. Her constant search for knowledge and desire to learn fulfills her abundant curiosity, and she values quality over quantity with an evident appreciation for both form and function. Each project she undertakes represents a milestone and reflects her multifaceted perception and skill set.
She has designed and created content for high-profile clients including Markiplier, Dell, the National Domestic Violence Hotline, Rooster Teeth, and Blue Bell. Creatives who inspire her include Josef Koudelka, Saul Leiter, Thomas Struth, Darren Pearson, Lucas Zimmermann, Andreas Levers, Alex Trochut, Nathaniel Drew, Rick Rubin, Jason Anderson, and Wassily Kandinsky.
As the creative director of her own life, she’s constantly seeking creative ecstasy, embodying her visions, and documenting memories and moments through various mediums. Her predominant ideology—that you create yourself—has expanded the boundaries of her talents, passions, and interests, profoundly shaping her into the woman she is today. She aspires for her last name, Zabojnik, to be universally recognized and referenced within the intersection of creative and technological industries.
